How to fix “Wireless charging is paused” message in Samsung devices
Smartphones are able to fast charging. By placing the phone that has a quick charging feature on the charging base. the phone will be fully charged within an hour, without problems. But some users encountered some problems. Some Samsung devices (such as Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S7, S7 edge, Note 5 etc.) stops randomly while charging and an error appears "Wireless charging is paused". If you see this error, here's what you can do:1. Check if fast charging mode is turned on
If you are charging your device and your device is not charging fast, you must check Fast charging feature if it turned on. Open “Settings” and go to Advanced features> Accessories> Fast Charging.2. Check the USB cable
There is a possibility that the USB cable is the reason. Some USB cables are faulty enough that they can not charge the device properly. Changing the cable should solve the problem and restore the fast charging. However, if you can not immediately bring a new cable, simply stop the "fast charging" feature so the cable must still retain its normal function. You can connect your smartphone to the computer and check if the cable is working or not (you should see "Charging or Charging Cable" on screen).3. Fast charging works but stops
When you put your phone on a wireless charger, you see a "Fast charging" message but immediately says "Wireless charging paused." You must first check your wireless charger. Connect your phone to the charger. If you see charging, this means that the wireless charger adapter either does not support fast charging, or it is not compatible with your device, or is not working. In either scenario, the only solution is to buy a new one.4. Smartphone stop charging when screen turned off (switch off or lock the display)
If your phone stops charging when the screen locks, you can make the screen work all the time. Keep in mind, this method will weaken the phone screen over time. In order to do this, you will need to access developer options.Go to Settings> About phone > Click Build Number 7 times to activate developer options.
Once you do that go back to settings, you'll see "Developer options" under "About phone."
Tap on “Developer options”. Here, enable "Stay active" option. This will keep your screen on while charging. This method must prevent the device from pausing in wireless mode.
Note: If your phone is covered under warranty, you must be able to claim a replacement for the damaged product (whether the phone or the wireless charging base).
On no 4. Remember that there is a less bad option for keeping the display active.
